#11 — Liddell-McNinch House

Built in the Queen Anne style in 1890, the house belonged to WJF Liddell who build a plant that made equipment for the textile industry. SS McNinch, Mayor of Charlotte, bought the house in 1907 and William Howard Taft visited it in 1909. Today it houses one our best restaurants, the McNinch House.
