#7 — Overcarsh House

This Queen Anne style house was on the outer fringes of Charlotte when it was first built. As you face the house, the one story wing on the far right side is probably the oldest frame structure uptown predating the Civil War. The house was expanded in 1880 in the new Victorian style, which was so popular at the time.
